Joe Rustad is a seasoned technology management professional with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Instacart since February 2020, Joe previously held the position of Senior Manager, Forecasting at Amazon from February 2017 to February 2020. Prior to Amazon, Joe worked at Dell for nearly nine years, where responsibilities included leading a global team of up to 90 members as Director of Engineering and Distinguished Engineer in the Office of the CTO. Additional experience includes managerial roles at Quest Software and Venturi Wireless, as well as foundational positions at Compuware. Joe Rustad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from San Diego State University.
