Thomas Gilbert

Thomas Gilbert is an accomplished leader in the field of biomedical engineering, currently serving as General Manager at Integra LifeSciences since November 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing manufacturing process development for a regenerative product portfolio. Prior to this role, Thomas held various senior positions in research and development, including Vice President of Research & Development at Miromatrix Medical and ACell, Inc., and Chief Science Officer at ACell, Inc. Additionally, Thomas contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh. Thomas possesses a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Materials Science & Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
