Nathan provides specialist environmental design and sustainability consultancy for projects around the globe. His vast and broad experience within environmental design process makes him a key sustainability champion on our projects.
Joining Elementa from Foster + Partners, he has led the development of sustainability and environmental strategies on various projects, together with Engineering project management and design coordination as part of a multi-disciplinary team as part of an integrated design team.
Nathan’s experience in both architecture, environmental design and environmental engineering makes him an invaluable resource. An effective communicator, he is able to understand the needs and requirements of clients and stakeholders, providing effective solutions that are simply to understand.
With particular experience in integrating strategic sustainability guidance, microclimatic design, and sound infrastructure strategies for developments of all scales, whether building’s, campuses, masterplans, and urban development. He has experience of a variety of formalised sustainability frameworks such as LEED, BREEAM, Estidama, GSAS/QSAS, One Planet Living, Living Building Challenge, and other international benchmarking methodologies. He is a LEED Accredited Professional (BD+C) and joined Elementa as an Associate Principal.
