Michael Ormsby

Michael Ormsby, CPA, has extensive experience in tax management and accounting, currently serving as the Sr. Group Manager of Tax at Intellectual Ventures since April 2008. Previously, Michael held various positions including Sr. Tax Accountant at Safeco Insurance in 2007, Sr. Tax Analyst at Washington Mutual from 2002 to 2007, and Sr. Staff Accountant at McGladrey & Pullen LLP from January 1999 to March 2002. Early career experience includes a role as Staff at Kueckelhan Crutcher Co from 1999 to 2001. Michael's educational background includes two Bachelor's degrees from Western Washington University, one in Accounting obtained between 1995 and 1999, and another in Psychology earned from 1986 to 1990.
