Sergey Shaboyan is a seasoned electrical engineer and researcher with extensive experience in developing advanced communication systems and electronic devices. Currently serving as a researcher at Intellisense Systems, Inc. since September 2019, Sergey focuses on wireless link simulation based on the IEEE 802.11ad (WiGig) standard. Previous roles include electrical engineer at Lextrum Inc., where custom Tx and Rx subsystems were developed, and engineer at UCLA Brain Research Laboratory, specializing in device development and microcontroller programming. Additional experience includes embedded software engineering at Fisker Automotive, working on chassis electronics. Sergey holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, as well as both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field from UCLA, in addition to a degree from the State Engineering University of Armenia.
