Melissa Jimenez Vicente is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in pension investments and risk management. Currently serving as a Treasury and Risk Senior Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank since August 2018, Melissa has also held various positions including Treasury and Risk Specialist and Pension Investments Consultant within the same institution. Prior to this, Melissa worked at the World Bank Group as a Financial Sector Senior Specialist focused on Capital Markets Development. Melissa's earlier roles include Head of the Risk Management and Research Department at the Superintendencia de Bancos de la República Dominicana, and leadership positions at the Superintendencia de Pensiones (SIPEN). With a strong academic background that includes a Master of Science in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business, a Master of Arts in Finance from Universidad de Alcalá, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, Melissa has built a robust career in financial analysis and advisory.
