Rob Garfield has an extensive work experience history, starting as an Energy Derivatives Trader at Morgan Stanley from 1991 to 1994. Rob then worked at Reuters as the Head of Global Energy from 1995 to 2002. Afterwards, they joined the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) as Vice President of Market Data from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they served as the Director of Marketing and Market Data at SunGard Kiodex from 2007 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Managing Consultant at FinTech Marketing. Rob then joined Thomson Reuters as the Global Head of Marketing, Equities from 2013 to 2014. Later, they worked at FINCAD as the Global Head of Product Marketing from 2014 to 2016 and as the Global Head of Product Marketing & Corporate Communications from 2016 to 2019. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as an Independent Marketing Consultant at Sirius Marketing. Currently, they are working as the Marketing Director at Interactive Brokers since June 2020.
Rob Garfield attended Bucknell University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). Before attending Bucknell, Rob also attended The Taft School.
