Mary Alcantara is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and start-up ecosystems, currently serving as a Senior Partner at Interactive Venture Partners, where investment focuses on early-stage Hungarian and Central European entrepreneurs. As a Partner and Co-founder of tandemLEAP, Mary specializes in consulting for start-ups and developing minimum viable product concepts. Additional roles include Board Member of Smart Landing Program Canada, Managing Director of Strategic Alliances at Sellerant, and previous Head of Startups at MKB Fintechlab, where Mary also hosted the Beyond Fintech podcast. Mary's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Harvard University and an MBA with Distinction in Finance from Central European University, complemented by language proficiency acquired through Balassi Bálint Intézet.
