Dan Brubaker Horst has a diverse work experience in software engineering and technology roles. Dan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Interfolio since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Notre Dame in various roles. From October 2019 to November 2022, they served as an Enterprise Integration Architect, responsible for operations, standards, support, and software delivery of internal data APIs and custom applications. Dan also led operations and architecture for the Talend Enterprise Integration Platform and provided consultancy for data integration and software development projects. From June 2018 to September 2019, they worked as a Divisional Enterprise Architect, serving as a technical advisor and co-chair of the architecture review board. During their time at Notre Dame, they achieved notable accomplishments such as closing out the CloudFirst program, converting SSO services, and authoring knowledge base documents. Prior to their work at Notre Dame, they worked as a Director of Product Development at Harmony Healthcare IT from May 2017 to May 2018, where they supervised a team and collaborated with other departments for process formalization and automation. Dan also worked at the University of Notre Dame from July 2009 to April 2017, serving as a Digital Library Applications Lead and Project/Application Developer. In these roles, they supervised developers, set priorities, acted as a product owner, and trained other developers. Before that, they worked at LightSky as a Developer from November 2007 to June 2009, where they focused on front-end development and collaborated with stakeholders. Dan also had brief stints at Randy Martin & Associates as an Engineer and at Neighborhood Learning Alliance as an Interim Technology Coordinator in 2007 and 2006 respectively.
Dan Brubaker Horst attended Goshen College from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Dan'sfield of study was interdisciplinary, focusing on Physics, Math, and Business Information Systems.
