Alberto Bocanegra Vidal

Alberto Bocanegra Vidal has extensive experience in humanitarian and developmental roles, currently serving as Head of Delegation at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies since December 2017. With prior positions including Chef de Mission at SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL and Delegate at the International Committee of the Red Cross, Alberto has demonstrated leadership in crisis management and program coordination in various contexts, including the Middle East. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Public Law from the University of Sevilla and multiple postgraduate degrees in International Cooperation, Project Management, and Human Resources, with ongoing studies for a Master’s degree in Management and Conflict Resolution.
