International IDEA
Elin Westerling is a dedicated research assistant currently involved in the Climate Change and Democracy program at International IDEA, a position held since February 2023. Elin is also participating in a Sida-funded Development Cooperation Youth Trainee program with Svalorna Indien Bangladesh, which includes valuable experience at Keystone Foundation in India focused on environmental governance. Previous roles include an internship at UN Climate Change, where Elin supported capacity-building negotiations, and an administrative position at Migrationsverket managing official documents. Elin's academic background includes a Master's degree in International Development from Sciences Po and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science with a concentration in Peace and Development Studies from Uppsala University. Additional education includes studies at Försvarshögskolan and CEMUS.
