Julie Peeler

Julie Peeler has extensive experience in leadership and management across various sectors, including nonprofit and private enterprises. As Foundation Director at (ISC)² since 2011, Peeler oversees the largest global membership body of certified information security professionals. Prior to this role, Peeler was VP of Private Sector Initiatives at Americans for the Arts, fostering partnerships between private sector entities and arts organizations. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Consultant at Brices Crossroads Group, VP Management Director at Foote, Cone, and Account Executive at J. Walter Thompson, where key contributions included marketing strategy development for major brands. Peeler began a career in journalism at Crain Communications, ultimately leading to a strong foundation in communications and marketing. Peeler holds an MBA in Marketing and Nonprofit Management from Northwestern University and a BA from Loyola University Chicago.
