Karla Davis is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in public interest law, particularly in advocating for refugees, immigrant workers, and housing justice. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney at the International Refugee Assistance Project since June 2023, Karla's previous roles include Statewide Advocacy Coordinator for the Housing Justice Project at King County Bar Association and temporary Public Legal Education Attorney at Northwest Justice Project. Experience also includes legal externship at Centro de los Derechos del Migrante, internship with Advocates Abroad assisting asylum seekers in Greece, and providing public defense services through the Tulalip Tribal Court Public Defense Clinic. Karla's educational background includes a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
