Brandie Maxwell

Brandie Maxwell serves as the Director of Business Development at the International Rescue Committee since August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as an Independent Consultant from June 2016 to August 2023, where responsibilities encompassed new business development, proposal writing, and partnership strategy advice. Previously, Brandie held various positions at ACDI/VOCA, including Director, Deputy Director, and Senior Project Coordinator, overseeing international projects valued at over $80 million. Additional experience includes serving as Program Manager at Pact and Team Leader at TransPerfect Translations. Academically, Brandie holds an M.A. in International Development from American University and a B.A. in Sociology from Boston College, alongside a certificate in Documentary Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy.
