Hasina Rahman

Hasina Rahman FCILT has extensive experience in leadership roles within humanitarian and governmental organizations. Currently serving as Interim Deputy Regional Director for Asia at the International Rescue Committee since March 2023, Hasina previously held pivotal positions including Country Director at CARE, Deputy Country Director, and Assistant Country Director at Concern Worldwide, where responsibilities included program implementation, security management, and emergency response operations. Hasina's background also includes significant roles with UNODC as a Political Expert, with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as Head of Consular Services, and various positions in immigration services, demonstrating a robust expertise in crisis management and operational leadership. Hasina has pursued advanced education, including an MSc in Humanitarian Action and participation in a Women's Leadership Development Program at the University of Oxford.
