Helena Minchew

Helena Minchew is a seasoned professional in humanitarian protection policy and advocacy, currently serving as the Global Lead for Protection Policy and Advocacy at the International Rescue Committee since June 2018. Helena Minchew focuses on women's protection and empowerment, child protection, and the rule of law, aiming to influence humanitarian policy and ensure that protection programs are effectively funded and meet the needs of the most vulnerable populations. Previously, Helena Minchew held various roles at the International Women's Health Coalition and the United Nations Foundation, showcasing a strong background in advocacy and program management. Helena Minchew holds a Master of Arts in International Human Rights from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in International Communication and Psychology from Marist University.
