Ochieng A. Ogango

Ochieng A. Ogango is an Associate Advocate at Kihiko N & M Advocates LLP since September 2023, while also serving on the Legal Aid and PIL Committee of the Law Society of Kenya Nairobi Branch. Ochieng is involved with the Advocacy Assembly Internet Shutdown Scholars Program and participates in Africa’s Digital Future Fellowship with E4E, contributing to initiatives aligned with the United Nations’ proposals for digital cooperation. As an IGF Global Youth Ambassador for the Internet Society since September 2022, Ochieng has actively worked to enhance youth involvement in internet governance as Chairperson of the Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group of the Kenya Youth IGF. Previous roles include Litigation Associate at Mogaka Omwenga & Mabeya Advocates and H.T & Associate Advocate, as well as Legal Assistant at Humphrey & Company LLP. Ochieng's education includes a Bachelor of Laws from Moi University, a certification in Data Protection in Kenya from Strathmore University, and professional mediation training.
