Alberto Varano

Alberto Varano is an accomplished executive currently serving as the Executive Director at INTERPOL since 2019. With a robust background in leadership roles, Varano previously held the position of Principal Director Resources at Eurocontrol from 2009 to 2019, where responsibilities included Human Resources, Finance, Business Planning, and stakeholder relations. Prior to that, Varano was the Senior Director of Customer Service WW at CNH Case New Holland, focusing on enhancing customer experience to drive sales. As President and CEO of Isvor Fiat from 2000 to 2005, Varano led the restructuring of the company's training and consulting division in Latin America. Educational qualifications include an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Doctorate in Economics from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, along with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Università degli Studi di Torino.
