Mirek Kopriva has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mirek is currently the Managing Director of INTERSPORT Group in the Czech Republic since January 2021. Prior to this, Mirek held various roles at Tiens, where they served as the General Manager for Europe and Vice President for Central & Eastern Europe. During their tenure at Tiens, they achieved significant sales growth and profitability improvement. Before Tiens, Mirek worked as the General Manager for Czech Republic & Slovakia at Zepter International. Mirek also has extensive experience at Oriflame Cosmetics, where they held several roles including Sales & Marketing Director, Regional Marketing Director for South Asia, Global Project Leader, Managing Director, Finance Director, and Marketing Director.
Mirek Kopriva earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Sheffield Hallam University - Masaryk's Institute of Advanced Studies from 2004 to 2006. Mirek also obtained a degree in Inženýr (Ing.) in Podniková ekonomika a management from Prague University of Economics and Business from 1988 to 1992.
