Karen Patruno Sheehy

Karen Patruno Sheehy is an experienced legal and compliance professional with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Intra-Cellular Therapies since July 2019, Karen reports directly to the Chairman and CEO as well as the Board of Directors. Previously, Karen held the position of Senior Vice President and Global Compliance Officer at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where oversight of the Compliance Program was a key responsibility. At Sanofi, Karen advanced from Associate Vice President to Vice President, leading the North America Compliance team and establishing effective compliance initiatives. Karen's earlier experience includes roles as Corporate Counsel at Daiichi Pharmaceutical Corporation and Counsel at Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti, LLP, focusing on commercial litigation. Karen earned a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1988.
