Jonathan Cleave has had a diverse range of work experiences. Jonathan started their career as a Research Assistant Intern at Morgan Stanley in 2001. Jonathan then worked as a Risk Desk Associate at Standard Chartered Bank in 2002. In the same year, Jonathan joined Taylor:Bennett as a Researcher. Jonathan held this position until 2003. Jonathan's early career also included roles at Intralink and GBxAsia. Jonathan served as the Managing Director of Intralink Korea from 2015, and later became the EVP and Managing Director APAC at Intralink in 2023. Additionally, Jonathan became a Board Member at GBxAsia in 2023. Jonathan has also taken on leadership roles at The Association of American State Offices in Korea (ASOK), where they currently serve as the Chairman since 2023.
Jonathan Cleave earned their Bachelor's Degree in Economics with History from The Manchester Metropolitan University in 2002. Jonathan then pursued further education at Seoul National University, where they completed a Master's Degree in International Relations from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in International Political Economy from Seoul National University from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Cleave completed the Korean Language Advanced Program at Seoul National University in 2011.
