Joseph French

Joseph French has held a variety of roles in the finance and accounting industries since 2005. Joseph began their career as Owner/President of Frenchy Electronics in 2005. In 2009, they took on a role as a Finance Intern at Precision Castparts. Joseph then became a Mergers & Acquisitions Intern Analyst at Swiss Re in 2010. In 2011, they held two internships, one as a Securities Analyst Intern - Domestic Fixed Income Group at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, and one as an Audit Intern - National Real Estate Group at RSM US LLP. In 2012, they were Co-Founder & Board Member and President & CFO of Intrinio, and also a Consultant - Valuation Group / Financial Advisory Services at RSM US LLP. In 2019, they were Principal at Harbinger Consultants LLC and a U.S. GAAP Taxonomy Advisory Group Member at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). Joseph currently holds the role of Principal Financial Knowledge Engineer at Workiva.

Joseph French obtained a High School Diploma from Menomonee Falls High School in 2007. Joseph then attended the Wisconsin School of Business and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting & Information Systems, Finance Investment & Banking in 2011. In 2012, they completed their Master of Accountancy at the same institution. Joseph also holds an inactive Certified Public Accountant certification.
