Dustin Roelle

Dustin Roelle is a seasoned professional in mechanical design and research and development, currently serving as Senior Manager Hardware Design I&A at Intuitive since September 2023. Previously, Dustin held senior management roles at Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. and Abbott, overseeing teams and driving new product development within Class III medical device design. Expertise includes verification and validation, protocol creation, and engineering continuous improvement across multiple companies, including St Jude Medical and Thoratec, with a strong focus on mechanical circulatory support devices. An extensive background in manufacturing engineering and quality assurance was developed early in Dustin's career at NUMMI and Ford Motor Company. Dustin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from the University of the Pacific.
