Michael Achey

Michael Achey currently serves as the Director of Manufacturing at IonQ since March 2023. Previously, Michael held the position of Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering and Test Engineering at Solta Medical, Inc. from June 2016 to March 2023. Michael's earlier experience includes roles such as Principal Test Project Engineer at Physio-Control, Inc., Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer at Solta Medical, Inc., and Manufacturing Engineering Lead at Microscan. Michael also worked as an Engineer at TCI Scales Inc. and served as President and Engineer at Farmland Entertainment. Michael's career began as an Engineering Technician at Microscan and included a position as Manufacturing Supervisor/Technical Support at Terra Technology Inc. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology from Indiana State University, along with Bachelor's and Associate's degrees in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute.
