Ashok Kumar, PhD, FRSC, has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical research sectors, with a career spanning over three decades. Ashok Kumar has served as the President of the Centre for Research and Development at Ipca Laboratories Limited since September 2000, previously holding senior leadership roles in chemical research and development. Prior experience includes positions at Lupin, where Ashok Kumar was Deputy Director of Research and Development, and at Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) as a Research Scientist. Academically, Ashok Kumar completed post-doctoral research at the University of Sussex and earned a PhD from CDRI in Lucknow, along with an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Kumaun University and a B.Sc. from Agra University.
