Mr. Manish Bandlish, Managing Director of Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Private Limited, is instrumental in taking Mother Dairy to new heights. Under his leadership, Mother Dairy crossed INR 12500 crores turnover, clocking a growth of 20% over the previous year. An engineering graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia University and an alumnus of IIM Lucknow, Mr. Bandlish has strong 27+ years of experience across multiple organizations. He has worked with organizations like Maruti, Marico, Subhiksha, Metro Cash & Carry and Umang Dairies, across various geographies in India.
His experience spans from manufacturing industry to FMCG industry, where he spent 10 years in multi-geographies and more than 12 years in the retail industry. He worked with German MNC Metro Cash & Carry where he was on the Board of the organization. He worked as the Director Operations, responsible for All India operations of the all the stores of Metro Cash & Carry and subsequently as the Director, Development & Expansion, which was a strategic role to define the expansion strategy for Metro India.
Prior to joining Mother Dairy as Managing Director, he worked with Umang Dairies in Delhi as CEO for two years.

IRMA was established in 1979 at Anand, Gujarat with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the Government of India, the Government of Gujarat, erstwhile Indian Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy Development Board to provide management education, training, research and consultancy support to co-operatives and rural development organisations in India. IRMA is founded with the belief, borne out by Dr.Kurien's work in the dairy co-operatives which revolutionised the dairy industry in the country, that the key for effective rural development is professional management. Professionalising the management of rural organisations calls for matching the specific but unmet needs of the sector with the formal techniques and skills of management professionals. Linking the two are the 'rural managers' prepared by IRMA through its two-years diploma (PRM) in rural management.
