Carolina Baranda

Carolina Baranda has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles.

Carolina currently works at Isaac, starting in January 2021, in the role of New Channels | Growth.

Prior to their current position, they worked at VTEX from January 2016 to September 2020. During their time at VTEX, they held multiple roles, including E-commerce & Omnichannel CX Sales Executive, E-commerce & Omnichannel Corporate Sales Executive, International Financial Manager, International Financial Senior Analyst, and International Financial Intern.

Before joining VTEX, Carolina had an internship at GAP Asset Management from May 2015 to January 2016, where they gained experience in macroeconomic research.

Carolina also interned at Banco Modal from September 2014 to January 2015, focusing on FX back office tasks.

Carolina's earliest work experience was at CEMEC - Centro de Estudos de Mercado de Capitais, where they served as a Project Manager from August 2012 to June 2013. CEMEC is a student club that specializes in financial markets studies and research, covering fields such as corporate finances, macroeconomic research, equity research, and Excel.

Carolina Baranda's education history is as follows:

Carolina attended Ibmec from 2012 to 2016, where they completed their undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance. In 2014, they attended the Summer School at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and studied Business Analysis and Valuation. In 2013, Carolina participated in the CFA Institute Research Challenge (IRC) at the CFA Institute, focusing on finance.

Carolina also had the opportunity to attend an English Course Exchange at St. Clare's, Oxford in 2012. Prior to these higher education experiences, they completed their high school studies at Colégio Teresiano in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Carolina has obtained certifications in relevant fields. In February 2014, they completed a VBA Course at AOmega, and in July 2013, they obtained an Advanced Excel Course certification at CCE - PUC-Rio.
