Elaine Ferreira Melo

Elaine Ferreira Melo is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology and cosmetics, currently serving as an Active Ingredient Manager at ISDIN since November 2024. Previously, Elaine worked as a Senior R&D Project Manager at Lipotrue from November 2015 to November 2024, where responsibilities included the research and development of active ingredients for cosmetic applications. Earlier roles include Product Development Manager at Prima-Derm, S.L. from April 2013 to November 2015, focusing on new cosmetic product projects and cosmetovigilance, and Area Manager at Farmacia Manifarma Ltda from May 1996 to April 2001, overseeing client interactions and quality control of raw materials. Elaine holds a Doctorate in Molecular Biotechnology and a Master’s in Molecular Biotechnology from Universitat de Barcelona, supplemented by a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from Universidade Paulista.
