Jim Royston

Jim Royston has extensive experience in maritime operations, having worked at The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company since September 2002 in various leadership roles including Fleet Operations Manager, Ship Manager, Technical Superintendent, and Chief Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a 2nd Engineer at NERC from June 1997 to November 2003. Jim Royston holds a Diploma in Ship Building and Repair from Lloyd's Maritime Academy, a Diploma in Superintendency from Lloyd's Maritime Academy, and a Higher National Certificate in Marine Engineering from South Tyneside College. Additionally, Jim Royston is pursuing certification as a Level One Ski Instructor at the Canadian Ski Instructor Academy.

Our three vessels, Manxman, Ben-my-Chree and the fast craft Manannan, operate regular ferry services between the Isle of Man, Heysham and Liverpool and seasonal services between the Isle of Man, Belfast and Dublin.
