Business Development Manager

Job description

Things you’ll do in this role:

  • Own complex, full-cycle sales to carbon removal buyers, managing multi-stakeholder deals from sourcing through contract negotiation and close.
  • Represent Isometric in the market, maintaining a strong presence at key industry events — engaging prospective buyers to build pipeline and communicate Isometric’s differentiated value.
  • Act as a strategic signal back into the business, sharing insights from buyers and the market to shape go-to-market strategy, product priorities, and industry positioning.

Things we’re looking for:

  • Commercial & technical sales excellence: Proven ability to generate pipeline and close complex B2B deals — ideally SaaS, or involving a technical or category-creating product, where educating the market was key.
  • Early-stage operator mindset: Experience as a founder’s associate, founding AE or early sales hire — building GTM motions from scratch and adapting quickly in fast-moving environments.
  • Clear, strategic communicator: Skilled at simplifying complex topics for varied audiences and balancing hands-on execution with big-picture thinking.
