Kate Parkyn has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kate is currently employed as a Talent Director at Isomorphic Labs, a company focused on using AI and machine learning for drug discovery. Previously, Kate worked at DeepMind as a Talent Acquisition Lead in Research & Engineering, where they contributed to breakthroughs in artificial general intelligence. Kate also served as a Recruitment Manager at Sporting Index, an industry leader in sports spread betting, and as an IT Recruitment Manager at ResourceBank, where they represented clients such as The White Company, ASOS.com, Gate Gourmet, and Pitney Bowes. Kate's earlier experience includes roles as a Coach for the West Midlands Special Olympic Ski Team, a Ski Instructor at SnowDome Ltd., and a Recruitment Associate for Pitney Bowes.
Kate Parkyn received their education at Durham University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a 2.1 degree in Sport Health and Exercise. Prior to that, they attended Wrekin College from 1995 to 2000, where they completed their GCSE's and A'Levels. In addition to their formal education, Kate has obtained certifications in Textio Inclusive Recruiting, Art & Science of Neuro Linguistic Programming, and Foundations in Coaching.
