Melissa Davis currently serves as the Director at Isomorphic Labs, beginning in January 2024, and is also a Professor at The University of Adelaide since March 2022. Previously, Melissa held the position of Program Leader for Computational Systems Oncology at The University of Adelaide and Joint Division Head of the Division of Bioinformatics at The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. With a notable career that began as a Research Officer focused on semantic web ontology and biomolecular data, Melissa has advanced through various roles, including Senior Research Fellow and Data Modeller, specializing in molecular systems biology, computational biology, and predictive medicine. Melissa earned a BSc and PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Computational Biology from The University of Queensland between 1993 and 2006.
