Julius Dahms

Julius Dahms has work experience in various roles and companies. Julius currently works as a Senior Project Engineer at IVU Traffic Technologies since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Technische Universität Berlin where they held multiple roles including being a Doktorand, Projektkoordinator Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter from 2013 to 2019. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Lehrgangsleiter Kenntnisnachweis UAS at Handwerkskammer Potsdam. Julius also worked as a Diplomand at EnerKite from 2011 to 2012 and as a Praktikant at Airbus from 2008 to 2009.

Julius Dahms attended Technische Universität Berlin from 2004 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik (Aerospace Engineering) with the degree title "Dipl.-Ing.".

In 2013, they briefly attended Freie Universität Berlin, studying Physics and Mathematics, but did not obtain a degree from this institution.

During the year 2009, Julius Dahms participated in an Auslandsstudium (study abroad program) at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Portugal. This program was focused on Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik (Aerospace Engineering).

In addition to their formal education, Julius Dahms has also obtained several certifications. In February 2017, they completed a 3-day workshop on CFK-Flugzeugbau und Formenbau (carbon fiber aircraft construction and mold making) at Martin Weberschock Development. In December 2016, they completed a 6-day seminar on Kommunikation, Konfliktmanagement, Führungskompetenz und Platform Skills (communication, conflict management, leadership skills, and platform skills) at SKE SchmidtKommunikationsEntwicklung. Furthermore, in September 2017, they obtained the UAS Kenntnisnachweis gemäß § 21a LuftVO (knowledge certificate for unmanned aircraft systems) from Luftfahrt-Bundesamt.
