Ben Ruchte, P.E.

Ben Ruchte, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ben began their career as an Engineering Co-op Student at Dominion in 2007, gaining experience in failure analysis and assisting with field inspections. In 2010, they joined Teledyne Energy Systems as a Materials Engineer, where they provided material selection guidance for thermoelectric generator applications and developed assembly procedures and test fixtures. Later in 2010, they returned to Dominion as an Engineer I, responsible for maintaining the integrity of power plants and identifying root causes of failures.

In 2011, Ruchte joined Structural Integrity Associates and served as a Senior Materials Engineer, Managing Materials Services, and a Consultant. In these roles, they conducted and managed laboratory failure analysis projects, performed metallurgical and non-destructive examinations on utility components, and led meetings with clients to discuss project results and recommendations.

In 2022, Ruchte transitioned to IXRF Systems, Inc. as a Senior Application Engineer, working on application development and customer support. Ben then joined Structural Integrity Associates again in 2022 as the Director of Business Development for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) services.

Most recently, in 2023, Ruchte became the Director of Product Engagement at IXRF Systems, where they are responsible for engaging customers and ensuring product satisfaction.

Throughout their career, Ruchte consistently demonstrated expertise in failure analysis, materials engineering, project management, and client communication.

Ben Ruchte, P.E. obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Materials Engineering from Purdue University in the years 2005 to 2010. In 2015, they obtained the certification of Professional Engineer (Metallurgical) from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. Currently, Ben is pursuing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Purdue University Daniels School of Business, which they began in 2022.
