Andrew Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Andrew began their career as a Data Management Analyst at Tibersoft in 2004 and later worked as a Development Programmer at MEDITECH from 2005 to 2008. Andrew then joined New England Baptist Hospital as a Software Engineer from 2008 to 2011.
From 2011 to 2016, Andrew worked at UMass Memorial Medical Center, starting as a Systems Engineer and later transitioning to an Integration Engineer role.
During this time, Andrew also owned and operated GadgetSmiths, a consulting firm specializing in Web Programming and Website Design for small businesses and non-profits.
In 2012, Andrew took on a role as a Sub-Contract Programmer at HealthNet Consulting, LLC and later became a Staff Writer at The Married Gamers from 2012 to 2016.
In 2014, Andrew worked as a Sub-Contractor Programmer at Healthcare Revenue Strategies.
Starting in 2015, they joined The Family Gamers as an Executive Editor, Owner, and Podcast Co-Host, where they provided family-friendly content on board games, video games, and more.
Currently, Andrew is serving as the Director of Application Development at J2 Interactive, a position they have held since 2023, and they continue to excel in the field of software development and management.
Andrew Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2000 to 2004. In addition, they obtained several certifications including Cloverleaf Level I and II from Infor in 2014, and OPENLink from Siemens Healthcare in 2013.
