Jabal Omar Development Project is a unique urban regeneration scheme aimed at providing first class accommodation and supporting religious, social and commercial facilities and services for the visitors and residents of the holy city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah. The development will significantly enhance accommodation and other facilities for the ever-increasing number of pilgrims and seasonal visitors to Al-Haram. The JABAL Omar Project is a mixed-use development that includes residential apartments, hotels, commercial uses, public parking, and associated support facilities such as public assembly and prayer areas. The project with a land area of 235K m2 and a built-up floor area of approximately 2 million square meters is intended to be a high-density development (1,500 persons/hectare). The project is located in the center of Makkah Al Mukarramah to the West of the Grand Mosque; the site of the project is bordered by Umm Al Qura and Ibrahim Al Khalil roads to the North and East respectively. The Areas of Dahlat Al-Rushad and Al Hafayer border the Site from the South and West, respectively. The company is working on preparing a new strategy in order to expand its possibilities, taking into consideration the ambitions of the stakeholders, customers, and the working staff, and indicating its working field, geographical boundary, and administrative and legal structure.
