Paul Digney

Paul Digney possesses extensive experience in the fields of surveying and spatial sciences. Currently serving as the Global Technology Leader for Earth Observation and Technical Director of Data Capture at Jacobs since September 2014, Paul has also held various leadership positions, including Technical Director for Survey Asia Pacific Buildings & Infrastructure and Spatial Manager for Tasmania. In addition to a significant role as a Director and President at the Geospatial Council of Australia since November 2020, Paul served as President Elect of the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) from September 2018 to May 2020. Prior experience includes a position as Spatial Manager at Sinclair Knight Merz, Program Manager Geodesy at the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment, and Geodetic Surveyor at Geoscience Australia. Paul earned a Bachelor of Surveying in Spatial Sciences from the University of Tasmania between 1993 and 1997.
