Mandy Tran

Mandy Tran is an experienced engineering intern currently with Zurn Elkay Water Solutions, specializing in product design, prototyping, testing, and engineering processes related to backflow prevention and pressure reducing systems. As an undergraduate research assistant at Cal Poly Engineering, Mandy supports research in powder bed fusion additive manufacturing and has held multiple roles, including 3D Print Lead and Student Laboratory Assistant, demonstrating strong capabilities in 3D printing and metal casting supervision. Additional experience includes a manufacturing engineering internship at neuro42 focusing on ultra-low-field portable MRI systems, and previous roles at Jamba and Things Remembered, showcasing customer service and technical skills. Mandy holds a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
