Jaak Raudsepp

Jaak Raudsepp is an accomplished academic and research professional with extensive experience in science education and research management. Currently serving as an Affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since September 2023, Raudsepp has held the position of Director of Research at Cold Spring Harbor CSD since July 2010. Additional roles include Team Member at Team Rubicon since July 2019, and previously, Assistant Professor at the University of Phoenix from April 2009 to July 2019, and Science Teacher at Northport High School from September 2005 to June 2010. Raudsepp's early career involved significant contributions as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Insurance Service Office, Inc. and as a Team Medic in the US Army Special Forces. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Science Education from Stony Brook University, two Master's Degrees—one in Biochemistry and another in Science Education—and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, all complemented by ongoing studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
