Carrie Combs

Carrie Combs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in higher education and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at James Madison University since August 2011, Carrie has held multiple leadership roles within the institution, including Interim Sr Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving and Executive Director of the JMU Alumni Association. As a Co-Founder of Hope Ridge, a 501c3 organization in Bridgewater, Virginia, Carrie focuses on promoting spiritual, physical, and mental well-being. Additionally, Carrie contributes as faculty for the Annual Giving Network and has prior experience at Rosetta Stone and QuadraMed Corporation. Educational credentials include a Post Masters Certificate in College Student Personnel Administration, a Master of Science in Technical and Scientific Communication, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, all from James Madison University.
