Christian Howe

Christian Howe currently serves as the Associate Director of Athletics Communications at James Madison University since February 2020, overseeing a team of student workers and managing the hiring of practicum students. Howe played a key role in launching a new athletics website and collaborates with various departments to enhance the professional development of student-athletes. Previous experience includes positions as Assistant Director and Athletics Communications Assistant at JMU, where Howe covered multiple championships, managed social media strategies, and supported the transition of the athletics program to a new conference. Prior roles also include working as an Athletic Communications Undergraduate Assistant and Intern at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where contributions included game-day operations and content creation for ESPN3 broadcasts. Christian Howe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication Studies from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
