Michele Estes

Michele Estes is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in educational technology, currently serving as a tenured Professor and Academic Unit Head at James Madison University since July 2008. With a strong background in strategic planning, problem-solving, and public speaking, Michele has held various roles, including Director of Educational Technology Graduate Programs and Associate Professor, contributing to curricular design and mentoring online graduate students. Prior experience includes leading multimedia design projects at the University of Georgia, facilitating statewide eLearning initiatives for the University System of Georgia, and supporting faculty development workshops. Michele holds a PhD in Instructional Technology from the University of Georgia and two degrees from Valdosta State University in Instructional Technology and Theatre.
