Wasanthi Stephen counts over 21 years of work experience, out of which 17 in the Human Resource Industry in Sri Lanka. Her extensive exposure includes talent management, employee relations, handling industrial disputes, mentoring, counseling, and learning and development in the hospitality, real estate, investment banking, manufacturing, and finance industries.
Prior to joining Janashakthi Insurance PLC, Wasanthi also worked at John Keells Holdings PLC as the Director of Human Resources for Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel and as an Assistant Vice President at John Keells Holdings PLC. Wasanthi also practiced as Junior Counsel and an Instructing Attorney. She further worked in Sri Lanka Telecom's legal division.
Wasanthi is an Attorney-at-Law and an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (CIPM).
