Chris Gerber

Chris Gerber is an experienced engineering manager currently working at jane.app since July 2019, where responsibilities include developing best practices among developers. Previously, Chris served as a frontend platform engineer specialist and JavaScript developer at jane.app, focusing on optimizing tools and processes for front-end development. As the founder of Six In A Row, Chris designed and deployed a mobile app across major app stores. Chris's career also includes significant roles at CHIMP, where contributions as a front-end developer and data analyst improved data reporting capabilities, and at Peer Giving Solutions, where Chris excelled as both product manager and full stack developer. Early work included a research engineer position at the Structured Surface Physics Lab, contributing to projects in human optics and software development for lab inventory management. Chris Gerber holds a B.Sc in Physics from The University of British Columbia and a degree in Internet Solutions Development from CDI College.
