Khalid Shehzad

Khalid Shehzad is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Mobilink since July 2015. Under Khalid's leadership, Mobilink, the largest mobile operator in Pakistan, underwent significant transformations, including a comprehensive reorganization of the Technology Organization, virtualization of the IT data center, and a major network upgrade involving over 5,000 sites. Prior to this role, Khalid held the position of Chief Technology Officer at DTAC Thailand and Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Telenor Pakistan, where accomplishments included the successful merger of IT and technical divisions. Khalid's career also includes leadership roles at Celtel Tanzania, PTML, Western Wireless International, and Vipnet GSM d.o.o., where efforts focused on IT infrastructure development and the introduction of innovative technologies. Khalid holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge, and an MBA in Management from Karachi University.
