Laura McNeil

Laura McNeil is an accomplished legal and governance professional with extensive experience in company secretarial roles. Currently serving as Deputy Company Secretary at JD Sports Fashion since October 2023, Laura previously held similar positions at DWF, Ibstock PLC, Blue Prism, and N Brown Group, where responsibilities included managing compliance with the Companies Act 2006, overseeing board and committee operations, and leading the Company Secretarial team. Laura has demonstrated strong leadership in mentoring junior staff and has been active in governance projects and initiatives related to ESG and diversity. Educational qualifications include the Chartered Secretaries Qualifying Scheme and an LLB Law from The University of Sheffield.
