Steven Eckel

Steven Eckel has extensive experience in school safety and security, currently serving as a School Security Officer for Wall Township Board Education since February 2019. Additionally, Steven has held the position of Jenks Security at Jenkinson's Boardwalk since April 2016 and founded School Safety In America in 2013, focusing on creating robust safety plans for schools. Previous roles include SLEO CLASS III with Howell Police Department and Security Officer with East Brunswick School District. Steven's leadership skills were demonstrated as President of Jersey Area Girls Soccer from June 2015 to September 2019. With a background in law enforcement as a retired Sergeant from Middlesex County Sheriff Office, Steven combines practical security expertise with management experience in various educational and community settings.
