Beata Markowicz has a strong background in compliance and regulatory affairs. Beata started their career at SEI as a Fund Accountant and later became a Financial Reporting Supervisor and Compliance Officer. Beata then moved to abrdn as a Senior Compliance Officer, where they led various compliance teams and played a key role in implementing policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements. Currently, they are working at Jennison Associates LLC as the Vice President and Director of Investment Advisory Compliance. In this role, they oversee compliance programs, manages regulatory filings, and ensures adherence to ethics and compliance policies. Beata is also responsible for implementing new policies to reflect regulatory changes and mentoring their team.

Beata Markowicz earned an MBA in Financial Management and International Business from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Accounting from DeVry University from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, Beata Markowicz has obtained several certifications including the Axonify Content Expert Certification from Axonify in 2020, the Series 3 - National Commodity Futures Examination from the National Futures Association in August 2014, the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) from NRS by COMPLY in 2013, the Series 24 - General Securities Principal from FINRA, and the Series 7 - General Securities Representative from FINRA.
