Colin Harris has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Colin is currently serving as the Chief Architect at Jiva since April 2022. Prior to this, Colin held the position of Head of Engineering at Jiva from January 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Jiva, Colin worked at ThoughtWorks as a Principal Consultant from July 2018 to January 2021. Colin also held the positions of Lead Consultant from July 2014 to July 2018 and Senior Consultant from August 2013 to July 2015 at ThoughtWorks. Colin gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Credit Suisse from July 2014 to November 2015. Colin also served as a Senior Software Engineer at REA Group from August 2013 to June 2014, and at Classified Ad Ventures from April 2013 to July 2013. Colin worked as a Software Team Lead at Lambda Software from July 2011 to April 2013 and as a Lead SIF Developer at the Department of Education and Early Childhood Learning in Victoria, Australia from August 2010 to July 2011. Colin started their career at Etech Group Pty Ltd as a Product Manager from January 2001 to February 2010.
Colin Harris obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Colin also has additional certifications in Robotics, including a Coursera Course Certificate in Aerial Robotics and an edX Certificate for Autonomous Navigation for Flying Robots.
