Matthew Quinn

Matthew Quinn is an Integrated Flight and Propulsion Control Systems Engineer at Joby Aviation since September 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew served as the President and Team Captain of the UCLA Intercollegiate Travel Surf Team from October 2020 to March 2023. Matthew's engineering experience includes a mechanical internship at MBARI, where development of an electronics bay for a Coastal Profiling Float and the creation of a hydraulic test bench were key projects, along with previous internships at Coco and the U.S. Geological Survey, focusing on mechanical design and integration. Matthew's work experience also includes time as a Construction Laborer at Calypso Construction, involved in various construction projects. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, completed in June 2023.
